Evolution of Richard Tee

In this transformation you will find 3 very different looks of our dear Richard Tee Kai Ming, in different age groups and looked very different from each other too. You will have difficulty identifying or relating them to each other. So enjoy trying......

At the tender age of just 2 years old

At the sweet young virgin age of just 18 years old.

Taken on 1st October 2016 at about 11.20PM.

Edward Yew Goes Down Memory Lane

Our normally quiet Edward Yew Kok Keong decided to share some interesting and long-lost photos with us. And I guess it is timely too, before they go into obscurity, let it be place in the hands of Google to keep it for perpetuity and posterity. Rest assured these will be on planet earth long after we are gone. Your great-great-great-grand-children will have no problem seeing them in their cell phones any time of the day. It may even be worth a fortune by then, who knows.

The 5 musketeers conquering HuaLien San some 31 years ago.
Francis Loh, Kuang Yap, Eric Ho, Edward Yew, Freddy.

Penang Trip, the one on the far left went hysterical, anyone remember them or seen them?
Hysterical? No surprise with so many handsome guys in SDJ74.

Waiting for Ngee Tee to update on status of these pretty chicks
Ok here it is: Rou Yin, Maggie, Mei Ling, Josephine. :)

Also waiting for Eric to tell us who was this sexy lady.

You won't know who he is until he put on some weight,
but he was prepared for it with his oversized pants.

Ahh, we all know who this tall guy is, and I think I know who is beside him.
I recognise his back well,
having seen his back for so many years during classes. Kam Weng?

Kok Siang, Ngee Tee and Edward - nothing has changed. :)

Some people we will have trouble recalling. Dun worry, it is part of aging.

Kok Seng, John Chan, Steven, James, Edward, forgot her name & Rou Yin.
Sadly, the forgotten girl is the one that standout most in this picture.

One in heaven, Steven & Kee Joo Cher, non SDJ Tan Ghee Kok and ......?

Don't need any intro here. They were the ones the headmaster was going after.
For being well-behaved. Hehe.
Kee Joo Cher, James Ling Kue Hin, Ang Ngee Tee, Chia Kok Siang,
Ng Kok Seng, Edward Yew, Eric Ho & Tee Kai Meng

Kok Siang, JS, Kim Liong, Ang Tau Koon, Sim Kam Weng, Ronnie

Tan Cheng Yong, JS, Ken, Mok Chek Chee, KL, Ngee Tee, Kam Weng,

Joo Cher, ???, Cheng Yong, JS, Ken, KL, Quek, NT, Kam Weng

An 18-year-old by the name of Hor Kay Kok rocked the teenage
world then, with this glorious photo.

Not everyone is too excited though, as a very tired Ho Kuang Yap
after a exhaustive trip to Taiwan.

Three handsome guys. Many girls going hysterical those days
because of these guys.

the guy hugging Francis Loh, what is his name?

Eric at his melancholy best.

Freddie of SDJ 75

Easily Beat any Taiwanese singer of that era in looks.

Another one, bringing out his best shot. Guess who?
Going to be a close fight! With the four heavenly kings
of Hong Kong of those days.

Another hero of our time, the Stephen Chow of our era,
Ho Kuang Yap some 31 years ago, in some
disputed mountain & valley in China.

Four Members Meet Up After A Long Time

In case you are wondering who they are. They are Hong Kay Song, Pang Kwong Tik, Cheam Heng Teng and Kain Meng. We were attending Jiok Saw's daughter's wedding, and none of us knew before hand who from the SDJ group will be attending this dinner. So Kay Song, all the way from Penang is the biggest surprise. As to be expected, the retired ones and the nearby ones are the more likely to be able to attend this dinner.

Anyway, it is great to meet up, who ever can make it, with lots of topics to talk about, less of the past, but more of the present - handy topics like Najib's 1MDB, Mahathir, Terrorist, Road toll and vehicle permits, driverless cars, Uber are some of the exciting exchanges. Hope to have more of such meetings before our days are finally done. :)

Kay Song - Promoted to Grand-father Status liao!

Hong Kay Song have just shared a simple open secret with us, and that is he is already a grand-daddy! He also shared with us this interesting photo showing his grand son, still being carried by the parents. Ain't he cute?

But frankly speaking, Kay Song doesn't look old at all, neither did he feel old, as you can see below, he is still a very active hitch-hiker, and mountain climber, ever reached the peak of Gunung Tahan, highest mountain in Malaysia.

Kay Song have just proven to the world that there is no mountain high enough to be conquered no matter what age you may be in. Next target? Could it be Mount Kinabalu, or even Mt Everest? We shall wait for the exciting news from Kay Song on what mountain to climb next.

We have an SDJ74 member who is a Town Councillor

Pls feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but Dr. Lim Yak Hong, if I remember correctly was in our WhatsApp group for a short while. He is a Town Councillor at Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru. Anyway here are some wonderful pictures I manage to link from his FB site. Enjoy....
